Each laptop is also attractively elegant in its own way, with the MacBook Pro 16 exhibiting a more conservative, minimalist design while the XPS 17 has a sleeker, more streamlined appearance and the choice of black (carbon fiber) or white (glass fiber) keyboard decks that give it a more luxurious appearance. Both are constructed of CNC machined aluminum, both exhibit zero bending, flexing, or twisting in the lid, keyboard deck, or chassis, and both exude quality. The Dell XPS 17 and Apple Macbook Pro 16 are two of the best-designed and most well-built laptops on the market today. 3 times will be a trend :) which is always a good sign … 2 up and working. I just wanted to confirm what you said so others can give it a try. Hope this helps a just wanted you to know I followed you steps to a tee, no deviations.

(Otherwise, it will connect to Apple servers, and you’ll get the 0004 update notification !)Ģ/ Copy on the desk the ‘SecUpd2019-002HighSierra.dmg’ (it would not install from another drive in my case), and then launch the update.ģ/ After reboot, Install FIRST the CUDA driver - I know, it’s weird to do it that way)Ĥ/ Reconnect wifi or internet connexion and go to the github website :ĥ/ Open terminal and copy and paste this line :

Is there a work around for this? I cannot afford to replace my machine at this time, but having a video card that I cannot utilize because the drivers no longer work is just plain ridiculous. The only difference is that my machine is a 15 inch instead of a 17 inch. I have the same problem, literally word for word, that has I noticed some older Graphics cards were part of the update, but I did not explicitly see my NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M

Or is this machine simply too old to stay current?

Why is this happening and what do you think I need to do?

(To see if potentially the CUDA driver set was the problem, I followed the steps in this thread again and tried to install an older CUDA driver set => CUDA 387.128 driver for MAC Release Date: - ALL TO NO AVAIL) Opening CUDA in System Preferences, It shows that “GPU is not Supported” ** I installed the latest CUDA driver set => CUDA 418.163 driver for MAC I downloaded the most current files (CUDA and Web Drivers), as prescribed by this thread and followed instructions. After doing an OS system update, i subsequently received error messages in Adobe Suite saying my CUDA and TESLA Drivers were not current (and now my GPU preferences unfavourably changed within the programs)
